Well, if the Tachikoma is simply saying that it's a liar, then I think the best we can do is say that it's a liar, haha. Liars usually do two things: (1) they usually speak other than truths (2) they speak falsehoods in order to deceive. If what it said was true, then Tachi' is a lying liar! If what it said was simply a lie, then it's still a lying liar!
Nevertheless, in another formulation, this paradox examines what's possible in certain systems, e.g. formal artificial languages. And to begin to answer that would require me to write an essay, but thankfully I'll spare you. Great picture!
