Yes, its pretty fun doing shadows and shades, this is my first proper attempt actually. I get scared of doing shadows feeling that it could ruin the line art. Again, thank you so much!

With shadows just remember where your "light source" in your picture is. Different values with darker and lighter shading will also add some affect. What you have here is pretty good, from what I can tell. Simply using shadows and shading can really help with details, too.
