Hahah, yeah, with the bondage... that was always how I viewed Poison Ivy. I guess my first introduction to her involved a comic where she had Batman bound with plants, probably hanging from the ceiling - so that will forever be how I think of her. It always struck me as pretty tongue-in-check, so I wanted my drawing to reflect that...
The creeping, vine-y, flowing nature of this piece is spectacular! Not to mention, ever so appropriate for Poison Ivy. It looks really well put together, the poses, the colours, the lineart, everything. I like how the striking red of Ivy's wavy hair contrasts with the blacks and muted green, without being overly eye-popping.
Seems that Batman's not wanting his kiss though. Ah well~

Your artwork is like magic to my eyes. I like the rich coloring, and overall style of this. And I'm pretty sure that no one could ever say 'no' to drawing Batman.
Thanks! It's been such a long time since I've attempted to draw in this style. My current art practice involves a much looser, sketchier style (for lack of better descriptive words). So, I'm pretty happy with the results.
