I love the effect you achieved with "kids markers" (I'm guessing something along the lines of Crayola or RoseArt?). Anyway, I'd say your watercolor experiment was a success. I really love the shading on Tati in general, as well as the subtle colors in the background contrasted by the darker colors in her jacket.
