I completely understand. Sometimes, thought truly gets in the way of inspiration. I have a problem with over-thinking everything! So letting go is more difficult for me, but its much more rewarding. Sometimes I have a certain emotion or feeling or goal I want to portray through my art, and sometimes my art completely speaks for itself, even to me, from some place within me that is made of pure inspiration and creativity, that I can't tap into on purpose....

This is beautiful and very inspiring. Some of my classes are trying to teach us that art has to have some kind of purpose, idea, or goal, but I don't feel that way because some of my best work came from pure inspiration without any thoughts or overall goals to weigh it down.
The title and your comment "just let go" are very fitting for this piece and all spontaneous art. Thank you for sharing.

I wish I could paint like that. My acrylic painting yesterday came out horrible but the grass came out good. lol
