It's about a college kid named Yoga Kimimaro who wants to have a stable life and make a stable income when he is invited to the Financial District.
The Financial District is a place where people fight battles alongside a representation of their future in order to make money. Each attack costs some money but they can gain it back plus some if they land hits.
However, if you become bankrupt in a battle you are banished from the realm and you lose your future as collateral. This can cause people to disappear, lives to be altered, etc.
He's sort of taken under the wing of a senior member who has his own ideas about how he fights and spends the money he makes there. Basically Kimimaro has to decide if it's worth giving up your future for the present.
Based of some reviews and comments it seems there's people who either really like it or really dislike it. I think it's a pretty solid anime though and it was very enjoyable.
