Well this one does seem to be getting more attention, so I may be using it. But there is a third option of using things liked from both in another drawing.

I like this version. I think you've captured a very subtle expression with this one - he's not just determined, perhaps a little cross, but he's also got something to prove - that's what fuels his determination. He will stop at nothing.
With this one, it looks like he could be a master of any type of pokemon (whereas the other one suggested a certain style, or type).
unfortunatly. It will most likely be qutie awhile before I am able to post the other version of the Rival. Be patiant. Shouldn't be too hard, I don't think there are too many people waiting for me to post something new... yet.

Both versions are cool but I must say that I like this version a bit better, not sure why.
