It contrasts beautifully indeed, but if the hair was black it would fit in the bg more. Besides, her lips are red and there are spots of gold as well. I just think it's worth a try as another version, for the kicks XD
That's an intersting idea indeed but than the only colorful area would be her dress and her skin. I just thought that pink was better and it contrasted with blue too but I will try it and publish it.Won't be the same pose though. I will try to change it a bit.Thanks for suggesting this!

Amazing drawing, I really love the detailed dress, it's just stunning. Just an idea, but how about making her hair black? I think it would contrast the perfect bg better.

Well first off... ello ello there, I like to vote and comment for people who take originality to the top and your piece takes the cake today. I have to say that there is something just plain lovely about the work in its simplicity. I adore the dress and the colors you have chosen are just enough contrast. You titled your piece correctly, it sure does stand out to me. Great job and hope to be seeing more work from you in the future Otaku.
