Thank you so much for the support. The purple I added so that I wouldn't give away too much of the original but it does look really nice! The grass was a first time for me, I used a tutorial then copied the grass I made all over the ground. The sky was my favorite part! I wanted it to like really spacey so I added tons of colors and stars but I cut those parts out. XD
Its funny, as soon as I was 95% done with the sky, the computer started to act crazy. XD

Thank you! The finished version is much more polished, I had to get the file from my old computer when I discovered I only had the earlier file. But this one still looks good, I redid some parts in the finished version like the trees and added effects like glow for the fireworks. I can't wait to show you guys the finished product when the calendars come out. This was my first scenery, where the focus wasn't on a character but an atmosphere and a place. It was quite rewarding having something done like this on such a huge scale. The actual size is really big and 50% of the time my computer didn't like that so things got slow. XD

Yeah, a bunch of artists drew a picture for the months they were assigned. There will be 3 13-month calendars all together. I'm not sure when its going to be complete though. I'll make sure I'll up everyone posted.
I can't wait to see it finished too, the calenders that is. Seeing my own picture printed and next to my idols will be quite amazing!

This is GORGEOUS! The lights from the fireworks all look great and really stand out so well! I'm really proud of you for taking the risk and trying out for the calendar drawings<3 I would LOVE to have this as part of my calendar! ^^ The purple is wonderful and I love how your anthro self is staring off casually into the distance as if the day is just calm and relaxing ^^ You really did well with this one Truly-chan!!<3 Love it and keep up the wonderful work!<3

It's a veyr nice pciture C.C ,I like the background and the way your character fits!
I always go for purple tones as usual,the ground is interesting but the sky hold the biggest surprise,great work at all.

A calendar project? Oooh I want to see the finished result! Is that a collaboration of the work of several artists?
Anyway, this picture is lovely, I really like the fireworks :D the ends look almost feathery <3
