I'm glad you like him. And yeah, that hand pose is such a pain in the butt. It doesn't seem like it would be at first but good grief. It actually took several attempts to get the thumbs right.
I'm not really the hugging type, but I wouldn't mind hugging this guy. My main focus, though, is his hands because I just drew a picture of a girl with that freakin' pose and it was such a pain. D:
But yours came out really nice. As always, I like your anatomy and coloring. :) Keep it up.
