I see, to be honest I was going to put more details in it, but since it was my fist time experimenting with this medium, I thought I would better make it simple.
But definitely, that's not just you (I also happen to love details) ^^ next time I will be more confident and adventurous
correct me if I'm wrong,I have understood that Charizard is seen very closely. My actual aim was to make it like emerging out of the paper although I failed, so if that is what you meant by that phrase, it was intentionally drawn like that. His head is sort of bigger compared to the neck because of the foreshortening..maybe the whole problem here is the rendering, I do not know XD
I like the look of it but maybe it's a bit up close? The background is a good contrast to the orange but it's a bit lacking. The skill and style are nice though!

I think the fire came quite good and the background came good too.... the colours are awesome... but work On what i told you too :) im entering the contest too maybe in two days time Ill be ready
