Also, have you ever thought about the way Red notices her gram's wolfish features gradually? I have always liked to think that this is because Granny is actually a werewolf! Red just happens to catch her transforming. Folk tales are neat!

Yes, I LOVE folklores and fairy tales and all the jazz. It's just so interesting. I think it may be the fact that most of these were made for kids, but they're actually very violent. Like London Bridge is falling down, why do they even tell that to kids!? It's about how the Vikings buried children on foundations like London Bridge was built on. That's not very kid friendly....O.o
