no problem.. someone has to help anyways and it was my tutorial that messed u up.. XD

but u followed the steps right.. i dunno how and why brushing in a new layer makes it look like u are erasing the layer..? o.o"

alright just to make sure, u did not duplicate the background layer and only created a new layer above it set to multiply or other layer options.. u used a brush tool and it was erasing the layer (layer01).... 0_0" really weird coz nothing should went wrong there... did u try re-installing it..? coz it might've been bugged at some point and it has malfunctioned.. lol.. else, i am not sure.. best way to solve this is to re-install.. yup.... XD

sorry, it wasnt that much of a help.. v_v"

    the coloring tuto...

so, what i did was just follow it...
    step by step..

first, i opened the pic that i would color,
then i made a new layer and use the brush tool to do the color.
i chose my opacity and started coloring...

    that's what i did.
is there something wrong with what i did?

<jeez, i suck in this kinds of things>

thanks for keeping up with me...
    i really appreciate it...
    and sorry for bothering you...
    thanks again...

hmmmmm... i dont clearly understand... the after effect seemed to be auto-levelled *done by Image-Adjustment-Auto Level*

the layer image... u were saying that when u brush in the layer, it's like unmasking the previous layer..?

can u explain the problem more.. *^^;*
