Pah, don't beat yourself up with the lighting. I like how it seems that the sun is really intense and is sort of 'swallowing up' the wolf.
I have this strange thing for wolves with wings. I love them~
Beautiful art, by the way! And I would agree that you did a great job on the wings (I wish I had the patience to actually draw them well like you did ><)
