I really love the coloring of that er thing. Its so pretty and reflective. And I adore the overall color scheme of the pic, I do love my purple. I don't think its ugly at all. I really like this one.

The transparency of the bubble thing is well done.

SO NOT UGLY. This is beautiful!! :D I love the thing she's holding, lol. It's so colorful. And I like the girl's hair a lot, too. <33 The thing she's holding...is...well, it just looks like a translucent pillow. Pretty awesome. Great job, b-day girl!
Ohhhh I dunno, I could imagine a lot of different things . . . could just be a pillow she's squishing up against because she just wants something to squish up against . . . could be a big wad of clear dough or clay that she's shaping . . . of course, being me, the first thing I thought of was that it was her shape-shifting alien friend who had reverted back to his basic ooze form either through injury or sickness, and she's holding him as well as she can on her lap trying to figure out how to help him.
