I know you said to use a model and I can't get arms and hands right if I don't look at my own. I did look at my own hands from that angle and that's pretty much what they look like.
very cute. good sketch! my only creative critisism would be the hands. i think that you went with a very cool angle on them and i dont want to discourage you i'm just saying to practice and get a model! i do love the angle with the posture. very nice
