I don't think you failed. The coloring on the tiger looks a little odd, but I still can tell it's a tiger.

As for the girl, her profile isn't too bad. The only thing that looks off to me is that her head looks too big for her body.

I really like how you did the water, though. It even looks like the girl's hair is wet.

Also, sorry I keep calling your character "the girl". I'm not familiar with the characters from anyone's original stories on the O.
