ok I see. I ended up resizing in paint (and it took me a while to figure out how to crop too). I used to have photoshop, so that was nice to have everything in one, but yeah, you reminded me that gimp is free too! thanks!
just read your question (although it wasn't to me ^^' sorry if I'm butting in) and unfortunately you can't resize on SAI...not that I know of anyone...I'll try to see if I can figure it out but I usually just resize on GIMP (this is a free coloring program that you can download by typing in GIMP in Google ^^) also, SAI doesn't have brushes and special effects but GIMP does so if you want to make your picture more snazzy, I usually lineArt and color on SAI and then transfer to GIMP to resize/spiffify XD
yeah, I think they pick out art (it can be drawings or wallpapers or cards, etc.) that they think should be seen by everyone in the community...so it's an accomplishment!

Yeah I heard PhotoShop and SAI have a gigantor amount of tools and features and it takes forever to try them all out @u@; I've never used sai yet but I'm sure that with time and practice you'll be able to figure out alot of the tricks in no time~! C:
