Thank you very much A.B.Dream! The colors where requested by dark shryuoken, well for the clothes at least. I wanted her to have similar hair to her twin sister, Tira. The scorpion showed up in a draft I put up, I put a "film grain" filter on top of the colors on him. I wasn't sure if I should add more tones to him, I kinda have a bad habit of getting carried away when coloring sometimes and it ends up looking too busy. heh...i was having trouble thinking up a background, it's just a gradient color with a "mosaic" (I think) filter applied to it, kinda symbolizing a dry terrain, I get the feeling that Terra does a lot of hard traveling.
Your characters are very well detailed and the coloring came out great.Nice detail with the scorpion,if you add more tones it can be more realisticc.Great work at the pose and the background is something I was not expecting at this kind of picture.I thought you would use an earth sky background byt this one is interesting also.

OOO!! Thanks tami kun! *looks sneakily around* I'll try it out when the others are away, I'm almost done sketching out a comic page, I'll use that as an experiment!! XD

sorry to bother you again, but there's this online photoshop thingy that maybe you can use. you can also divide an image into layers too! i think that it also has texture too. i found a while back and just remembered it.
*hugs* Thanks tami kun!! Eheh, the program i use says its a "digital image editor". I think it's an old version of a photoshop (2005) It took me a long time to color this. all kinds of tweaking the hues and adjusting brightness and contrast @_@ and there's this option called "filters" that have a few different textures to use! I still haven't found anything that let's you divide the image up into "layers" though. >>
