i'm guessing you got a wacom since it came with the photoshop elements. i got that program too but didnt even bother installing it. three words: PAINT TOOL SAI. GET IT. you think photoshop is user friendly? that program will prove you wrong xDDD
and its only $50. try out the 30 day trial
Thanks for pointing that out. I actually see plenty more things that need attention but I don't know exactly how I should tend to them. I could say that most of the drawing looks flat. I only have knowledge of the pen tool and the gradient tool right now. I need to learn of some more tutorials so that I can add "texture" and "depth" to the illustration. It can't be that difficult, surely.. :

Great practice too, its fun learning cell shading because there are so many ways you can do it. There are a lot of good tutorials out there too that you can learn a lot from. When I first learned about cell shading I looked through different tutorials, there was something I would always learn!
