Yeah I'm pretty sure. though it looks like it might be a bass, you'd have to put into consideration how small he is (about 3'6''-4'0'') so when he plays it would seem big to him-- and when he plays it he always puts it up like a fiddle *shrug* At least that's what I think~

This is a very cute sculpture! I can't wait to see the colored version. One thing: you said the instrument was a violin....but it looks more like a double bass to me
