I think it's important to still use traditional media, even when testing out digital methods. I know I have to; when I was drawing with pencils and made a mistake, I found myself trying to find the 'undo' button instead of erasing my lines. xD Creepy sad, but true. ;~;

My mother will let me use acrylics, watercolors, and some of her oiil pastels, but not the canvases and oil paints. I think she's worried about the fumes and stuff from some of the paints, :/

But now, I really feel like using some watercolors...

Yeah same here. I like to put up my digital pictures because I think it makes more of an impact on people. Like, you tell them what you used and I think anyone who can use all forms of material is a good artist. I mean, someone who uses a tablet all the time or whatever forgets how to use their hands and it's just sad and kind of scary. I don't own a tablet so I don't have to worry about that lol. I just use my hand for the mouse and voila

You should ask your mom if you can use some!! Or is she very protective?

Digital art is very good, however, I'm always more appreciative of traditional art. Traditional art that makes me go, "Wow, how did they do that?" always makes the artist in me smile. = w=

I miss working with watercolors though; my mother is an artist herself and has a crapload of paints, canvases, brushes, and pencils here... o wo
