Actually, I have a lot of friends who are from those parts, lol the chilangos right? They make the worst customers though and let me tell you, a lot of them think they're better than the others u__u I wish I was still in Guadalajara, I fit in over there with my pale skin, in TJ I stick out like a sore thumb and everyone just assumes I am an american lol. But it's alright, until they try to rip me off, then I talk to them in spanish and they feel totally stupid. I agree with the language though, the lower Mexican states totally butchered the spanish language with all this slang and a lot of them don't have any manners either.

And just to contribute to your convo with amandan, I guess you haven't met Mexicans from the interior of the country. Like people from Monterrey and D.F.! They're whiter than American whites. Seriously, their blood has way more Spanish in it than indigenous. They look like Europeans but speak Mexican Spanish; which is waaay better than Spanish-Spanish, trust me. I hate that lisp. >:(

Man, your style is great. Love those eyes that only you seem to do. All that dark around the eyes, you know, the erratic lashes shading yet at the same time it seems very soft. That blush beneath the eyes always tops off your style very nice. Truly unique Teapot. Outstanding.

Yeah I tend to make my boy characters look like girls. There's this other user on the site who is always confusing my characters that way!! I keep telling her the majority is male but oh well, let people think what they want.

I did experiment with different shades, but I'm at school right now and I was lazy and tired and didn't really want to anymore. I thought it looked fine the way it was, but like you said, maybe it's just because I use watercolors. Oh well, I don't normally do digital art, it was just something I thought would look nicer for the DA application

I think this picture looks very adorable! I wish it was a girl rather than a boy, :P But that is just me.

I think the coloring is really cool on the hair but I would have loved to see more of a variety on the skin and ...hair. ha ha ha ha. Don't get me wrong this looks great the way it is! I just think it would very very very very very beautiful with more shades. But I guess you are used to using one color, since you use water color.

Yeah I don't know, I just have a thing for big eyelashes I guess lol. I always draw them in for the details because then the picture feels empty without it >.> I never thought too much about the brushes until you mentioned it. I just colored it on a photo editing website and that was it, lol. Changed the thickness and yeah, that was pretty much it

what did you use to colour this? the brush size looks really big, especially for the shading at parts
