Im actually really glad you posted both up, and the title goes along too. Although most people wouldn't understand how changing the background from white to black, or black to white could symbolize two different stories, you did a really good job with it. It's one of those things where people have to understand the characters in order to get the whole concept.
I wonder why there is two seperate panels for them. Like, one of them is light and then the one on the dark is light. I think it's because the darker side represents the more hatred that has grown between them and the intensity of the battle that has risen over time.

Very nice. :3 I love the fact that their eyes are shadowed, it adds more darkness to this.
I think I prefer the white background... no... the dark grey... no...ack! >_<
