Ah, that's a Torii- a gate that leads you to a Shinto Shrine. And, Inari is a popular god in Shinto religion, so he has MANY MANY shrines all over Japan (thanks to the ancient tribes who worshiped him and conquered other tribes eons ago).
Anyhoo, yeah, the torii wasn't in the lineart. I added it later with photoshop using just the lasso tool and brush tool XD It was really simple...
Very nice! I really really like the way you colour you pictured, but can I ask, how did you put in the archway type building in the background? I noticed it wasnt there in the line art but I mean did you draw it in or use a tool orrrr? :]
