Believe me, I know the feeling. -___- I can get these nice following lines in the bland areas that don't matter, but when it comes to a part of the drawing that I really like (like the eyes or hair for instance) my hand gets shaky and I mess up. XP
i mean, i just have this uh. unsteady hand. and my lines look really blotched, my pens dont smear or anything though.

Thanks. I referenced the pose though. Drawing hands holding guns is hard so I find the best references in Saiyuki (gotta love Sanzo).

I just draw in pencil first then go over it with pen. Does your pen smudge? Cause that be the reason. I use waterproof archival pens.
woa! this lineart is so clean and neat! i wonder how you guys get it so crisp lol, and the great line widths :D
