Whew! That makes me feel better! I wanted to make a drawing of Al (human form) paired with one of my OCs, but I didn't want to anger fans of the Alphonse-May Chang relationship. Nice pic, btw.

A canon is an actual character from an anime or manga. So for instance, Edward Elric is a canon because he is an actual character in Fullmetal Alchemist. But as for my character, she is not a canon because she is not actually in an anime/manga. I made her up. Make sense?

It's alright to say that, but by doing so, you're really not going to persuade me. I never said Ed and Winry didn't belong together. I just personally do not like the pairing. And there really isn't anything wrong with having an OC that is paired with Ed. It's not like I'm going around saying "Ed doesn't like Winry at all! He likes my OC!" because we all know in reality that's not true. I have an OCxCanon pairing because I enjoy it, not to defy the original EdWin pairing.

I like teh picture and all, but i must say one thing...
i believe ed and winery will always belong together...
i love ed too, but i would never draw myself in this situation, because i love the relationship the two have together. i couldn't even pretend to break that up...
