Interesting picture,very interesting one.
Did you know yellow and purple are opposite colors,by default it will mean a hard combination on the same platform .The good thing is you used one at the background and one at the character,but u used another good move at them,blue at the gloves makes the character integrate a lot better with the background.For a final weird move ,I would gone orange in the background or in the character to integrate even more the color panel.Black separates the 2 coloring schemes,you can also use white for that effect.
