uhm, don't press it too hard. it might break. just use the colors according to your shading desire then apply a layer of mid-shade color atop of it. it, somehow, mixes the dark color to the lighter color.

Ohhhhhhh drawing tip!! So exciting! So you like- press harder on the pencil to make it darker like that? Or somthing else?

'Lame backgrond' my FOOT, this is AMAZING. I love your colouring job- mixed wih the shading and all really mazing. You've really captured the feeling and mood of the image. Very clear lines, and vibrant colour. Sweet stuff, thank you for the dedication.
