It's definitely tribal. Really simple but very creative. I like the "clean" look of it. I could see it on someone's arm believe it or not. Ya-Ha! Good job!
The lines bordering the wolf actually reminds me of wind coming out of the sun. It's pretty magical and gives a sense of peace. But then again the wolf is reaching towards the brightest part of the picture, therefore making me think that the wolf is searching for light within it's own life.
