I don't know, someone told me to never use black to blend..maybe that only applied to water colors.
yes so I might blend the wrong colors for the shadowing because I tend to use opposite colors sometimes x]

it's just that when I don't edit it, it nevarrr looks finished =0
It isnt that hard to shade with colored pencils, you just add the darker color of the one your using or if you want it to be a really dark shadow you blend in a dark grey or black. Simple as pie! Har Har Har!
The only think I dont like when you edit your pictures is how much you take away from the smoothness of the original.
