yeahm that's how brlenders make things blend basicly *nods* defiently try what i mentioned before! :) rememebr when the ink is still WET on the paper it will have the same effect as when the blender was applied on the paper ^ - ^ light color first, while it's wet apply the next color etc. etc. you'll be able to do it especially if you're used to using a blender!

YES!! copics are my fave XD that and oil paint (i do a lot of realism, but i don't psot it becasue well...i'm not sure ppl would understand the strange things i paint ^ __ ^;; )
they do last very long! but as you said, i do have a lot of refills lol i haven't bought new markers in almost 3 years because of the refils!! a refill costs as much as a marker (or a dollar more) BUT it fills up about 20 markers!! so there you have it!! TAH DAAAH!! a toal money saving trick XD sorta of LOL
and in response to what you said above to miableachgirl, with copics i never use a blender becasue, like all blenders, it eats up the color (which is why it can blend the colors). when coloring, simply add the lightest color, and while it's still when add in the medium color. while that's still wet add the darkest color :D this will allow it to blend a LOT easily and with less to no streaking ^ - ^ when ink is wet (like painting) it will belnd easier! ^ o ^ no need for a blender.
prisma markers were made to be used for architecture drawings and fashion drawing so they can't exactly blend as smoothly. they're really made for quick, solid coloring. copics were amde for mangaka to use and are truly made for fine coloring (their nibs are sumpr soft and feel so different that prisma)
btw, i also use prismacolor markers, so please know that i'm not against using them ; __ ; simply, they can't be usde for soft things like skin is all.

LOL XDD the thing is, when it wasn't colored, they looked EXACTLY the same XD i drew the same eyes and nose on them ( but they have different lip shapes XD ) but once i colored them OMGEE!! yeah, they looked pretty different <3
You're welcome! I love prisma too! I've always wanted a colorless blender ever since Christmas when i first saw it. I fell in love with it!^^
I don't like buying refils. Cheaper to buy a new one. But if you have a favorite pen, and there is no more copies of it in stores of whatnot, then yes. I will get a refil.
I have a question for you too. Do the prisma markers blend in like copics?
i'm a huge fan of prismas (i use the pencils with all my drawings) but i only own a few of their markers. what annoys me to no end is that fact that i cant get a really light skin color out of them. i know with copics you can add the colorless blender first to make your colors lighter but i dont know if thats possible with the prisma markers. *sigh* u_u
its sucks being a marker n00b. i'd really like to learn how to use them
and oh snap 5 months???? thats a long time. especially when you can buy the ink refils for about the same price as the marker (and they refill your markers about 6-8 times)

You should try prismacolor markers! they're fun! My frined let me use his. They're like miracle workers!
I have Copic markers, but I don't like to use them. They go through the papers like Sharpies. And if I accidentally drew over a drawing I completed, Oh man, I would get mad if i did that again. lol Copic does work good though. My black one lasted a long 5 months. But it would have lasted longer if I didn't waste half the ink. He was tortured by me. I LOVE black and white pictures!^^

i think its safe to say that copic markers are your favorite medium. i wanted to ask how long is the life of one marker? i've never experianced copics but i dont even want to try if the ink doesnt last very long. also do you stock up on a lot of ink refills and stuff?

I absolutely LOVED your first chapter to your comic! You keep everything so consistent and neat. Alas, some get a bit sloppy with theirs, including their GRAMMAR and CORRECT SPELLING! Oye, maybe it is just me, but I think bad grammar (unless it's the character) and bad spelling can "ruin" a comic. *shrugs*
