but the hair color and the robe are too close in color and is hard to distinguish the two...
but other then that i love the background...nice job and good luck!!!

Three cheers for heterochromia! Love the piece, the mood you've created is wonderful. The only thing I would have done differently is darkening the background and adding a few more details (so it would blend with the character's scarf a little). Other than that it's really wonderful!
Oh wow I love the atmosphere in this piece, it's beautiful! Great shading and composition, background and details. I love how the entire drawing is dark and black and white (with brown I guess :P) and the eyes in color. Best of luck in the contest!!

Okay I just have to say that the eyes are the most beautiful eyes I've seen. The color is brilliant as always and the Eyes are my favorite!

The whole feel of the picture is so dark, I love the expression of the face and the two single colors of the eyes.
Oh -and the background! I love the background, it makes it seem like you can almost hear the noise of a city.
