Actually, believe it or not, but I was hoping people would get that impression that the green marks on his face were bruises of some sort. Or dirt from fighting or something. You're freaking me out with these interpretaions! Lol
You know i always love how you´re descriptions play out, ha ha ha. You always sound so unexcited about your art. Like...oh, here we go again...kind of tone, ha ha ha.
I think the spots on his face really work for this picture! It´s almost like hidden bruises of a battle. I also get the sense that he is leaving a battle because he is taking his headband off as a sign of exhaustion or...some other sort of symbolism.
It´s as though he is not wearing his headband because he does not want to put it on. Like he is in no mood to bear the responsibillty of being a ninja at that moment.
I know a little extreme for such an adorable chibi picture, which I love to death! But it´s what it makes me think of.
I love this picture a lot! I like the style of eyes you chose for him and his stance. And ack! His tiny baby sandals! I can never understand how you do such a thing! ha ha ha.
