Thanks, and the character doesn't have a specific gender, just some random design that I came up with :P
WOw, that was a very....flattering comment. But thanks ^^ Yeah, for the colors I use a special type of colored pencil that I get in Germany, and Bristol paper(I have to use a thick paper so I can torture it with my pencils just to get a decent result from my scanner). I forgot to brighten the colors on this one, but if I had I would have ran over the fur highlights (stay away from the shadows) with the white pencil to make it smooth and more bright.
It really does speak to me, like BAM right into my soul.
The wolf looks like she is flying, but why would you make a wolf fly or jump really high? It's almost as if she is trying to reach for bigger hights. Like she has to set higher goals for herself. She is showing her fangs showing that she is not afraid of the goals that are yet to challenge her.
Sorry but it's just what I see, ha ha ha.
I also love the choice of colors in the picture. All the whites and purples make her seem very magical and godly. Almost like a spirit...but not quite. Very beautiful!
