it looks like her head has been lifted from the paper.. it's really good.. the light-stroked hair strands makes a good shadow effect.. *^^*
ur grungy style never fails to amuse me.. ur best with horror pics.. it's scary to think that this headshot alone can make u think of lots of stuff.. *brain capacity* it's really amazing.. ur amazing..!

Her hair is lovely, and her face is sooooooo great, too. You used the watercolor perfectly! And the canvas gives it such a neat texture~ Great job!
I dont think this noobish at all! It´s actaully very beautiful and very full of...sadness. Hey if you can get an emotion out of it then your art has got to be delecious! ha ha ha.
I do have a problem with her left eye though. It seems more sunken in then the right eye. But that´s just me being a butthead.
I also love the fact that you made a mistake and saw it as an oppurtunity! That happens to me all the time when I choose the wrong color or something, ha ha.

When I first saw this, I thought she was a vampire because of all the red around her mouth. XD I love it though. You did a great job on the hair and the eyes.
