...actually, as I've been Kingdon Hearts-ing (haha, I just made it a verb XD) the 'new look' reminds me of Riku from game one to when we FINALLY meet him in game two XD so I wouldn't call it an epic fail. I'm not familiar with the song, but with the background's atmosphere and his expression I think portrays his struggle when he is with his foxy siblings. He broke away from them before and in saga I of Beyond! they force him to join with them again; even his sister that is closest to him refuses to see his side of the situation.
