Rinoa!! OO! I remember when I was little and my brother played FF8! She was always my fav and I always ran around my house screamin I'm Rinoa! My brother was usually Seifer or Zell and my dad thought we were nuts so he acted like Godzilla!! Lol,great job!!!!

One way to make it 3d like is putting an extra color
and sometimes i add some reflected light any light that you think it reflect back to your subject art.
and i used 'near colors'

I like your shadings it soft and clean ^^ don't need to adjust my brush for opacity level. Just stroke a color on the skin and shaded part will do the blending. ^__^
setting the layer to 'Multiply'
(ssshh... that's my trick too) ^___^

people are sometimes stingy when it comes to commenting.. lol... but at least they are voting and faving... =P
i love the hair color.. it's like there's some lighting behind her at the same time a light source from the left too.. very nice and soft coloring.. love her eyes most.. it's like a doll's eyes.. <3
good job... ur bringing up a new style for ff characters.. *^^*
