The reasons I prefer Ponyta are simply aesthetic. Ponyta are a purer white color and don't have the horn thing going on.
And those chibi eyes? To die for.
i like the the way you drew rapidash! and the coloring looks awesome
i dont realy like how you edited the back ground though some times tradishanal art and dijital art dont look right together .dont shoot me for saying that !other than that i think you did a great job!
I had a rapidash on one of my many blue version games. She totally kicked butt. I guess knowing all the cheats helped a little. It's kind of sad, that if you wanted to know them I could tell them to you right now on the spot. Isn't it sad that I remember that and not hardly anything I learned in middle school?

AGH! Rapidash is awesome!
I am actually training one right now...uh hur hur hur. But seriously, it is a beautiful pokemon...if you like horses.
But duuuude! Look at that background! ...like the sky is just amazing! I cant get enough of it. Its like that miraging fire type.
And also, awesome job with the flames. They are solid!
