Actually, the shading looks pretty good, you know. But I've heard that some people either have someone pose for them or reference the shadows on a model of some other kind, like a statue or action figure. Never tried it, but it's probably worth a shot? ^-^ Just in case that helps...

This is a great piece of work you did. Keep it up and so I will be giving you a hug for it, but please forgive me if you get this comment more than one because it's not that I am ignoring your artwork or not taking the time, I just have a lot to do with college and I miss leaving comments for everyone like I used to do. So I am giving everyone a comment and a hug. Its not anything bad thing but I do sorry for it. Or you can look at a professional piece of art that has good shading.
Better yet, you have an art intructor. He should be able to help too, right?
