He looks so adorable, and you did a great job on getting the expression on his face. And the different directions of his hair looks incredible. My suggestion is to make his eyes dark so they stand out away from the face and more lively. Don't ever be afraid to go darker on the hair or in you shading. Make the darker parts the darkest, and lighter the lightest.
Its a very great portrait, you did such an incredible job at capturing him. Hope to see more!
There's nothing wrong with Grids. They're like training wheels. I think. I should use them too. But I'm to lazy to go through all that. It seems like a pain for me. My drawings suffer in the long run because of it. Don't be like me and keep doing what your doing. :P
You did an excellent job! I see what Ronka was bragging about. ::*laughs hard*:: I like it very much. I think I should get into this though.. I need to start figure drawing. But I don't have the right pencils... I don't think. O_o"
