Thanks. I saw your newest pics and they look great. You say the backgrounds come out bad, but I like them. In the new Sasuke/Itachi pic, I like the red-tinted black background.
And for my rose, it was done in acrylics... I hate acrylics, but I'm happy with the way this pic came out. (Acrylics dry too fast and it's tedious to have to keeping fixing the values. XP)

Actually, it's not as hard as it looks. I basically just painted one petal at a time. (A simple black-to-white gradient.)

wow, this is really nice! I love how you did the shading for each rose petal! I can never figure out how to draw a rose as good as yours D:

ooh wow! that a very well painted rose! the colouring is so detailed it looks really realistic, great job!
