took a vector brush, distort/warped it, then added a bit of random ..er.. flings XD

the time you spent on this really shows through.
the coloring is amazing as well as the smoke drifting into the air.

And I don't think you're suffering from a new colouring style 'cause there hasn't been one picture from you that I didn't like. It's a different style but I'm sure you'll turn it into something great.
