well, I GUESS you could do that..... but I'm not the only one who will tell you otherwise. I mean, most of the people on here like to stay with tradition and it looks a lot better in my opinion.
when you make your own mews, you don't exactly have to follow the guide lines of the books, cuz it's a new generation! maybe they made it to be different than the old mew costumes XP
yeah, i noticed... but when I looked it up on my japanese to english online translator (yeah, that's how sad I am) it didn't come up with anything... man, there goes my excuse...
Pretty cute, but is that her actual mew costume? If so, it needs some modification. Common characteristics of Mews:
-2 arm garters
-one leg garter, on one leg only
-there can't be any sleeves or straps if the mew is older than like age 9
-the costume can't cover up or be covered up by the garters (no ball gowns or pants, etc.)
-the mew has to have an endangered animal dna and it has to be real (no housecats, no dragons.)
-the outfits have two seams going vertically down the middle, one going over each boob, one under each arm, one over each shoulderblade, and one down the middle of the back.
-the costumes have one main color and one trim color.
-the collar has the mew pendant on it
there's the basic list, do your best to follow it and you're on your way to draw mews very well!

Ummm yes Zakuro means Pomegranite in Japanese. All mews are named after food, if you didn't notice! ^^ Also Ichigo means Strawberry.
