Well, due to hurricane Katrina we moved from a somewhat congested neighborhood in the city to a backwoods area with less than 100 people living in it. (So yeah, BIG culture shock... ^^;)

And yes, we do have an arsenal of sorts. My dad likes to hunt so he's got his guns. (Though he wouldn't use them on a person... unless of course that person were trying to kill us or something.) And I have my swords... I can use them well enough to defend myself, but my boyfriend acyually had Kendo lessons and is teaching me the proper stances.

Oh no, we thought the same thing when we first moved in, but I love it. One time when we were coming home from a trip, it was dark and I started making the "Jason Vorhese noise." (Not sure how his last name is spelled, but if you're familiar with the Friday the 13th movies, then you should know the noise.)
And yeah, we are in the middle of nowhere. Cops are like 30 minutes away, so we always say that we take care of ourselves if someone were to invade our home... X3
The scenery is beautiful, though.

Yeah, our house sits on 13 acres surrounded by woods so it always has that feeling of camping. Which I love camping too.
