90% of theotaku cannot read japanese. In fact, more often than not, the only japanese words any given anime fan will know the meaning of will be 1) Their favorite character's name 2) How to say shut up and 3) One insult.
Ie, it'd be a WHOLE lot funnier if people actually knew what was being said.
