Heh, in a way, L was doing all the things you do for a friend. You follow them regardless of anything. It's a bittersweet relationship. I still miss L and hate Light, though. It's like being kille d by your bff.

Yeah, I know. I think even in my own drawing, it looks like L is a servant to Light. Stupid Light... *puffs up cheeks* It's not just you. Still, even though L was being used the whole time and he knew it, Light was still the closest thing to a friend L ever had, regardless of the circumstances. =^~^= =^_^=
That's funny- when I saw this on the episode, I didn't get the "true friend" message- instead I got that even L is bowing down to Light... and Light is using him and such... But, that's just me.
