Great character work! I love the way you draw guys. I think it is wonderful that you actually folded the kimono's design into the folds and accounted for all the shading tones to go with that. My main problem is that the overall image feels flat still. My guess would be because while he has his shading on him there is no shading on the background to give it weight/volume. Easiest way to work with that might be to put his shadow in.
Either way I hope you don't mind my random opinion. I look forward to seeing what you do next.

This is simply amazing! I love his body! >///< He looks ever so mysterious! His kimono[robe?] looks quite spiffing too! I love the coloring! This is so good! By all means I will favorite it!

beautiful work as always. the fabric especially is well done... its great how you can keep track of the pattern despite all of the folds. the design in the back pops a lot, which takes attention away from the figure a little bit, but it still looks really sweet!
