wow! u seem to be leaving me in the dust!! this picture is so thoughtful, er, was that the right way to describe it? like i dunno, his expression seems almost sad, like his thinking deeply about something painful that has happened. and the browns and the debris or ash in the air could represent something bad that's happened? i dunno, that's what i get from the picture, and it makes me want to think. i think u did an excellent job on the clothing, the colors blended so nicely and the bg was simple, so you could notice the character, but enough so you noticed the bg. it was a nice blend of the two. ^^
His expression looks like he could have been thinking many different things. With the ash/debris around him, it looks to me like he's near something burning and he's slightly upset about it.
I really like the emotion you get from this picture, it's really strong. C:
He looks really angelic too. His hair is cool too, it makes me want to run my hands through it, 'cause it looks soft. *hopes that doesn't sound to creepy* XD
