Yes, sometimes that things happen So I changed my way a bit when shading. I never press the pencil except I really want that area dark, very dark. Just shade your picture smoothly. If you feel that the area is too light, shade it again until it getting darker. That will decrease the risk on erasing the picture (I think).
And yes, when the lead brakes, it make me mad >.
no no i love mechanical pencils those are the only ones i use its just that to get the shading even throughout the whole picture is a pain because of what you have to do to the pencil to get the lead flat nd exact, plus if you push to hard then you either have to erase it or you have to make everything darker.and when the lead breaks, ooo it makes me really mad
